Let us help you plan a big game hunting trip to Wyoming.
Our base
camp sits at 8500 feet in the middle the prime deer and elk country of the Big Horn Mountains. We use our
high cabins and a tent camp in the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area, plus
another set of rustic cabins in lower deer country. Our gentle ranch horses and
4WD pickups guarantee hunting enjoyment.
Our
main hunting facility is the White Creek cow camp headquarters where
our summer livestock work is based.
It is convenient and comfortable,
with electricity, running water, and wood-burning stoves. Our log bunkhouses
can each accommodate four people; there’s a heated shower building with
indoor toilets. There is also a main lodge and dining cabin with a
fireplace. Our cook is well known for his great food, including
fresh-baked breads, pies and some of the best beef in America. We
provide gentle horses, 4-wheel-drive pickups, and experienced, pleasant
guides. About all you need to bring is a
, your rifle, sleeping bag and toothbrush!
Our success rate over the past several years has been excellent.
Improvement in our habitat and grass management has resulted in
increasing game populations. Our country hosts huntable populations of
elk, mule and white-tail deer, moose, and antelope, with a variety of
bird species including sage grouse, blue grouse, turkeys, ring-neck
pheasants, Hungarian partridge, geese, and Sand-Hill Crane.
Coyotes,
fox, bear, bobcats, and mountain lions are also sighted on our private
land. On the valley floor along Shell Creek, we have 1-1/2 miles of
Shell Creek to fish, and
4-1/2 acres of developed wetlands for your enjoyment. Our guided hunts
cover 4000 acres of our deeded land, 2000 acres of leased private land,
plus adjacent BLM and USFS public lands.
The scenery is spectacular – Open skies, colorful deserts, lush
green valleys, with the Bighorn Mountains on the high side and sometimes
snow for “frosting on the cake”.
Remember to bring your camera!
Our hunting rates
vary depending on type of game animal and guide to
hunter ratio. Rifle hunting ranges between $1500-3000. While archery
hunting usually ranges between $2500-4000 due to the more personalized
nature of the hunt. Please give
