The grand old man of our program. We lost this super-stallionat the age of 20 but he left us with a solid foundation of
breeding stock. He was a half brother to Sun Frost out of a Sugar
Bars mare.
Top Frost Diamond: "Topper"
"Topper" is a horse we raised. The son of our
grand old man "Frosty." If I could only own one horse and he had
to make a living for me inside and outside of the arena. it
would be this horse. He has won money cutting but his real
talents are in the timed events. He is extremely athletic
and has great speed and great cow sense. He is courageous and
gives 100% in everything that is asked of him and you can ask
him for almost anything. His colts have great dispositions and
have gone in many different directions from jumping to cutting
and calf roping.
Docs Whiskey Blizzard : "Whiskey" "Whiskey" is the horse we purchased as a weanling in 2000,
to cross on Frosty's daughters. His sire, Paddy's
Irish Whiskey, was purchased the same day by the Four Sixes
for $560,000. We were looking for something with a lot of strength
in the lower leg and top-line, while maintaining a free front-end
and speed. He has proven himself well
beyond our expectations. His progeny are quick, strong and free
moving. Their dispositions are impeccable and they carry more than
ample substance and bone. The real surprise with this horse is that
he is smooth and can work all day if need be and still have
something left. He has been shown twice in cutting and placed once.
We think he has a great future.
